Lupsakka – Area D Spring Conference in Iisalmi, March 27.–29.3.2026
Lupsakka is the Spring Conference of the Junior Chamber International (JCI) Finland Area D, taking place in the charming town of Iisalmi at the peaceful Runni Spa Hotel.
The conference weekend offers inspiring speakers, diverse training sessions, and excellent networking opportunities for both JCI members and businesses.
During the weekend, we’ll take a look back at 2025 and celebrate the outstanding achievers of Area D – all with a generous dose of lupsakkuus (that easygoing Savonian charm) and festive spirit.
The entire weekend conveniently takes place under one roof at Spa Hotel Runni – everything close by, comfortable, and truly lupsakka!
Main Speaker (FIN)
Ismo Apell’s now-classic lecture, “The Unbearable Lightness of Interaction,” is a humor-filled session that explores human behavior at work, at home, in customer encounters — and even at moose hunts.
Rather than preaching or lecturing, it uses humor to gently nudge the audience to reflect on their own behavior.

Change and cancellation conditions
The participation is paid by invoice after registration. For all changes (including cancellations) made through the conference organizer, we charge a processing fee of 20 euros.
If participation is canceled by 25.11.2025 at the latest, 100% of the payment will be refunded.
If participation is canceled 26.11.- 31.12.2025, 50% of the payment will be refunded.
For cancellations made on or after 1.1. 2026, the payment will not be refunded.
Conference hotel
Lupsakka conference will be held in the idyllic setting of Spa Hotel Runni on the outskirts of Iisalmi. Here, the hustle and bustle of the city center is far away!
You can get to Runni by VR rail bus or by car. We can also arrange a ride from the Runni (approx. 2km) or Iisalmi city center (approx. 23 km) train stations.
